Ceramic Tiles of Italy at i Saloni and ICFF

Hello design-lovers,

As we're sure you are all well aware, it's tradeshow time! In addition
to Coverings (which will take place in Chicago next week) our client,
Ceramic Tiles of Italy, will have a big presence at two of the major
design fairs this spring: the Milan Furniture Fair (i Saloni) and the
International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF). Here's the scoop:

i Saloni, April 22-27
Ceramic Tiles of Italy will return to the Triennale to present an
exhibition entitled "Ceramic Tiles of Italy: A Natural Beauty."
Developed in conjunction with their new sustainably-focused ad
campaign, the exhibit will feature an Italian garden. This natural
setting is meant to highlight the importance that the Italian tile
industry has always given to the environmental and social aspects of
sustainability and to use Italian design to transform products into
creative, original and eco-friendly projects. Individual Italian
ceramic tile manufacturers will also launch new products at exhibits
throughout the city.

ICFF, May 16-19
Ceramic Tiles of Italy is pulling out all the stops to make their
first major showing at ICFF a smashing success. To start, the Italian
Trade Commission and Confindustria Ceramica commissioned iconic
Italian architect Michele De Lucchi to design their pavilion. It will
include exhibits from thirteen tile producers including: Del Conca,
Impronta, Settecento Valtresinaro, Refin, Lea, Etruria Design, Tagina,
Sant'Agostino, Lord, Marazzi, Casalgrande Padana, Fap and Caesar. The
pavilion will be filled with color, innovation and an array of new
products (see images attached). In addition, Ceramic Tiles of Italy
will host a series of events at the show and in the Meatpacking
District.
