Jeff Miller at Meatpacking District Design Week
The sleek and futuristic fashion destination will serve as the perfect backdrop for a display of several of Miller's cutting-edge furniture pieces, including the new Littlebig Chair and internationally acclaimed Obo shelving system.
The exhibit will run during store hours from May16-18, 2008.

| Two Design events worth a trip to Barcelona: Studio-warming party at Smart Design and Next Generation Product Design Forum Designers Sharing Insights On June 3-4, twenty speakers will be sharing their experiences in successful product design at the Next Generation Product Design Forum organized by GBG. You will have the chance to hear from and meet leaders in design and innovation from a diverse range of companies such as Procter & Gamble, Nike, Toyota, Tupperware, Orange, Virgin Atlantic and Nokia. One of the speakers you will enjoy is Dan Formosa, founding member of Smart Design, whose work for OXO Good Grips helped establish the brand as an icon of Universal Design. Dan is a leading developer of research methodologies to uncover design actionable insights. His session on June 3 at 12:00 is titled Exceeding Expectations: how "personal meaning" is displacing brands and technology. Please join Dan to discuss how design is shifting its attention from consumer segments to individuals, how to satisfy unmet needs of women through design, and more around the topic of connecting with people through design. Designers Having Fun & Tapas To celebrate our expanded European office, we invite you to our studio-warming party the evening of June 3. You will have the chance to meet several designers from Smart Design and across Europe, taste some of the irresistible local cuisine and Spanish wines, and dance away to the groovy tunes of our own DJ Ivan.
